Paper Sky is a story of light, love and courage. It takes place across two worlds and inside the mind of one man.
Henry is writer and a recluse. He refuses to leave his apartment. Instead he lives precariously through his writing, in particular the adventures of his heroine Lumina.
Lumina is on a quest to protect the light emitting seeds of a rare flower. Her world is made entirely of paper. While it is a beautiful land she is constantly under threat from a dark force that wants to possess her light.
When Lumina seeks refuge in Henry’s room fiction and reality become blurred. This is Henry’s chance to develop the courage he needs to re-engage with the real world.
Told in Red Leap’s uniquely theatrical style Paper Sky incorporates striking visual imagery and physicality to unfold a love story as intimate as the space between two people and as epic as the sky.
